Not a fumble.

Oh and by the way, if you wear orange uniforms you would clearly see the ball was secure until he was down. You couldn’t see that thing with those uniforms from the angles. Doesn’t excuse that **** poor coaching effort. WE BLEW THAT GAME!

Semper Canes!!!

Correct!! Why were we that close, at that time In the game, w GT? Why run, and not kneel clock out? Many why's, long before the refs final blow!!

a lot of fans are focused on the decision not to take a knee, or whether Chaney was down and the fumble call was wrong.

here is the important thing ..... Georgia Tech had to go 75 yards with less than 25 seconds remaining to get a TD for a win ..... and THEY SUCCEEDED !!!

THAT is what people should be thinking about

Setting everything else aside (and there’s a lot)…

Yeah not a fumble. I felt relief when they showed the one angle. Only after elbow hit did the defender strip and ball came out.

I’m out of energy man. Such a ridiculous sequence of events throughout the game to make things play out how they did.

Only us man, I swear. When does it end?

Am I the only one that thinks the fumble call was bull ****?

Elbow was down before he even made the motion to strip the ball…
Was not a fumble, but his elbow was not down before motion to strip the ball. Watching the play live, I thought it was a fumble. During the review, I thought there was enough video evidence to overturn the call. It was close for sure. All the angles of the replay views were not that clear and certainly didn't help our cause. I knew it going to be a tough one to overturn.

If they had originally ruled him down by contact, I also don't think they would have overturned that based on the replays. That call on the field killed us.

Bigger question is why did Chaney have his arms somewhat extended and not tucked into his belly protecting the ball? I mean, we know coaches were trying to get him 100 yds. Did Chaney not know he got the 100 yds after the initial push? Why keep fighting for the extra inches? Just terrible situational awareness by coaches and Chaney.

Our secondary reverted to last season's lack of discipline on those two plays. Both times players trying to be heroes rather than playing their assignment.

So many things had to go wrong at the very end for us to lose. And they all did. Every. Single. One.

Take a knee and it never happens

We're a cursed program. You can bring in the best coaches in the world and the outcome would still be the same. We must be paying for our sins in the past...whatever those are. Ever since that mother ****** Porter threw that flag in Tempe, this program has been cursed.

Man, it's so mind blowing that we had 99.9% chance to win that game in the final 30+ seconds, only to end up losing. Like you said, several things had to happen at the very end for us to lose. It's like there was divine intervention to make us lose the game.

Hard to say it out loud after all the nonsense that got us to that point…

but I’m absolutely shocked Kam let that guy behind him. I’d be dumbfounded if a freshman did that because it’s so basic (last play, nobody gets behind you).

But Kam?

Talk about a gut punch. Makes me sick.

Here was the review. The White Hat and the Booth official handling the review, cackling their asses off like Kamala Harris at how ******* retarded Mario Cristobal is for not knowing basic mathematics at end of game situations. Not even the 9 analyst coaches could figure it out apparently in time to save that moron from epic embarrassment. So lets call this as the "play stands as called on the field" and see how they **** up the final 25 seconds!
