OMG, has anyone seen their schedule. Might as well write them in for the ACC championship game. Their only loss should be Clemson and they should be favorites in every other game. What a joke, they are handing belichek the easiest schedule in the ACC. I believe his girl friend picked up the schedule, said it sucked and they fixed it for her.

I think TCU beats them!!

This is the ACC. They’ll beat Clemson and lose to Stanford and cal
They open with Charlotte and then Richmond...both just scrimmages to learn belicheks system whereas look at our first 4 games meanwhile they don't get... Miami, SMU, GT, Louisville, or fsu, whoops we get fswho but they do get Clem's Son for probably their only loss. Do ex NFL head coaches do well their first year in college? I know it took Butch awhile at NC and at the U. I can't think of other former NFL headcoaches that became college coaches...especially this late in their careers. Belichick is one weird dude.

Georgia Tech has a similar schedule with a better team.
They're my pick for the best SMU impersonation for '25.

Part of that statement is dead on. But Georgia tech if they stay healthy is a contender to win the acc. Haynes king is pretty **** good. Kids more a competitor than he is so talented. But like shebow showed its not always the talent. Where is disagree is I don't think SMU was actually too talented. I think they really benefitted from a WEAK schedule. Lashlee did a good job. But for me he's the offensive version of Mandy. It gets a lot easier to prep for him when the film builds up.

SMU had the weakest p4 schedule in county.

Our conference is solid in the middle. Problem is we aren’t too heavy. If us fsu and Clemson were all strong at same time the conference is not that bad.

It’s not just that Belichick has never coached college, he’s never even been an assistant in college, hasn’t played college ball since 1974 and that was at Wesleyan.

I think he’s in for a bigger shock than Saban at the Dolphins. He’s always coached pros under contract that he could say whatever the **** he wanted to.
That might have worked in the Bear Bryant or Woody Hayes days, but in the NIL era?

I don’t see how he will relate to them. If not for the cupcake schedule, I’d see a train wreck.

X and O’s don’t matter near as much in college as pros, I think he’ll be gone in two years.

Butch at least had been an assistant in college before he was a HC.
