Special shout out to Antonio Crawford. Best game as a Cane
Duke for Heisman
Nick Linder is going to be better than his brother
Vogel is the best punter in the conference and should be on Guy list if he's not already. He's a weapon. You can clown it, but we're kind of becoming Punter U, and I'm cool with it if it means we get to watch teams snap the ball into Row D
My only complaint is that we have not been passing the ball lately to our receivers and I know they can't be happy. Yeah having a dominant running game is great but you can't just abandon the passing game like that especially with the receivers we have

Kaaya leveled out the past two weeks. Not seeing the field as well as previously. I attended the Virginia Tech game and it was obvious from the outset that Kaaya was tight and we wouldn't accomplish much of anything throwing the ball, especially in obvious passing situations. I got a ticket in the Virginia Tech section #37, adjacent to where the Canes fans were in #39. The Tech fans near me were laughing when I was yelling at James Coley to run the ball on every play, and from under center, not shotgun. Luckily he figured it out fairly quickly. It made for an enjoyable 4 hour wee hour drive back to Williamsburg, where my timeshare exchange was. If Kaaya had been forced to throw the ball we would have been in for a long evening, the way that crowd was jacked, standing and jingling keys. Instead they sat down, then shut up, then discussed when they would leave, then they left. Biggest home cheer of the night was when they blocked the extra point at 30-love.
I was hoping Kaaya would be markedly improved against North Carolina but it was difficult to gauge, given the ineptitude of their defense. I thought he still displayed some tunnel vision and wasn't as relaxed as midseason. The one play I absolutely hated was the third down screen pass. It may work for a touchdown but that's incredibly dangerous down the road, if you try a 3rd down screen against a competent team. Overall James Coley did a great job in staying away from gimmick plays against North Carolina. There was one counter to Stacy Coley but that's about it. Those plays would have waltzed against that defense but there's no reason for them. We still blew a couple of possessions by senselessly passing on first down, or by utilizing the shotgun instead of staying under center.
Florida State's defense won't be as vulnerable against the Canes as they have looked in other games. That's what fans need to realize. It's simple situational adjustment. That team has athletes galore and they sense the path to the final four. Against a rival that is still somewhat vulnerable and trying to stamp legitimacy, the proven team will energize and not allow cheap touchdowns in waves. Kaaya is going to have to find a level far beyond anything he's displayed so far for Miami to have a late opportunity.
Regardless, I'm happy that the themes here are gone. Or should be gone. I haven't checked this board lately since I avoid internet while traveling. Bottom line, Golden can lose every remaining game by 50+ points and still retain his job for 2015.
Man, I'm feeling real good right now. Feels good to win and look **** good doing it.

I take EVERYTHING with a grain of salt son. You will too.....in time.
Offensive line's not an even they are a major plus. They are dictating the approach on offense. When you consider that they had 5 days or so to prepare after losing their best player, it's hard to ask for a ton more. I don't think we'll see much more odogwu, but you do have to continue to try to prep your depth.
Kehoe's a frequent target but it's time to show him some respect for the line's development despite a lot of injury.
