North Carolina Post Game +/-

My only complaint is that we have not been passing the ball lately to our receivers and I know they can't be happy. Yeah having a dominant running game is great but you can't just abandon the passing game like that especially with the receivers we have

Uh, yes we can...and we should continue to do so.

The leading receiver on the best team in the history of the program, had something like 640 yards.

We've ALWAYS been a team that runs it first.

Receivers need to continue to be unselfish and their opportunities will come the more teams have to stack the box against us.

Hats off to receivers blocking down field.

only minus is the continued turnovers when we're on the verge of pulling away in a game , and today for a TD, cannot allow to put teams back into games

Our WRs will have every chance to show out in two weeks. There wil be chances for them to make plays for Kaaya. We will need them because fsu is going to stack the box and leave our guys one on one.

++++ the crowd. Great atmosphere. Sets up for another great fsu/um atmosphere.

Great win. Defense is playing really well at the right time. Duke is running like a wild man at the right time. Walford is playing beastly at the right time. Everything is setting up nicely for a great game in two weeks!

DB's looked great in coverage today. Not many broken coverages and guys we attacking all across the defense.

It really felt like watching one of our early 90's teams.

two biggest pluses for me was the play calling and the tackling was the best i've seen this year

+++ to Philip Dorsett

tough to play WR in this offense and know you won't get many touches. He's one of the best blocking WRs we have ever seen here and when you watch a Duke Johnson career highlight film, you are going to see PD A LOT throwing key blocks
He will get his chance V FSU. Unless we totally maul them. Who knows, they suck at defending the run and we do that pretty good

Man, I'm feeling real good right now. Feels good to win and look **** good doing it.

This, big time, total team effort, unselfish...it's happening!

Offensive line's not an even they are a major plus. They are dictating the approach on offense. When you consider that they had 5 days or so to prepare after losing their best player, it's hard to ask for a ton more. I don't think we'll see much more odogwu, but you do have to continue to try to prep your depth.

Kehoe's a frequent target but it's time to show him some respect for the line's development despite a lot of injury.

+ Coley continued to call a solid game. Hast lost the r in his coaching. Heck, no unnecessary bubble screens.

2 games with our WR being blockers only. Will the timing be there? There is no way we will or can be competitive against FSU just running the ball and throwing to the atae only?

Anyone else hear the announcer say Walford was better all around than Jimmy Graham?

Jimmy is a PITIFUL blocker at TE, so it's not difficult to be a better "All-Around" TE, but Jimmy is also an unheard of weapon at the position.

Either way, Walford bouta get to the money.

Four years later he has been better than o'leary. Never saw that coming.

Thanks, Randy

I agree he has done decent with the injuries. Don't forget how good that dude is toting the rock. FSU's front 7 will be a handful. That will be the test.

FSU actually kicks rocks on defense. It would be amplified if their offense couldn't score 40 points in a half when they pull their heads from their asses.

I did hear that and I chuckled...they gotta say **** to make us want to listen to them. Hey at least they got their names right. I half expected to hear how Clive Walton was better than Jimmy Grant

Is Jimmy ever asked to block? He was just an arbitrators ruling away from being a WR wasn't he?

+ continued momentum

- fans salty even after a thrashing of a coastal opponent
