North Carolina has given up 600 rush yards!!!!

Just came from the game. Those boys couldn't stop a nose-bleed if they wanted to.

The fact of the matter is this, for that program, they are still lacking talent up front and are Year 1 under Chizik's scheme.

They'll be better. Believe it or not, there's a marked difference in how they played this year than how they played last year under Vic Koenning.

How they played this year is part of the reason why I have Miami being a 10-win team next year because, with just one year of simple, attacking defense, Miami will make a world of improvement. Moving forward we'll need to upgrade the talent in the trenches to mount a run at the National Championship.

Look at LSU and Miami seems worlds apart from them on the defensive side of the ball. Miami has a loooong way to go.
 
Man, yall makin too many excuses for chizik. An elite d coordinator doesn't get ran on for 600 plus yards by a one dimensional team.

Like I said before, chizik plays soft coverage behind aggressive fronts and he gambles with his dline stunts. He sucks on game day. He gets outsmarted a lot just like dorito. Briles took his *** to class tonight. And no amount of excuses will mend the burn that chizik is feeling.
 
Aaannnnndddddd Fedora loses another game against a top 25 team.....and to a team with the 3rd string QB, missing their leading rusher and missing their leading receiver(even though he wouldn't of caught too many passes) Dorito ever give up 645 yards rushing?
 
The element of surprise my ***. Everyone in the nation know Baylor hurting at QB. Stack the box and make them throw it. Or you can be chizik and pull a dorito by playing two high safeties with lb and cb 10 yards deep. Lol smfh. I could get pay much less to do the crap they're doing

No excusing Chizik's performance there. Absolutely pathetic. A month to prepare and you lay the biggest defensive egg I've seen in decades.
 
Chizik is a magician for what he did at UNC this year, last nite was a horrible performance no way around it but that was only one game. If any of you remember UNC's defense from last year they were one of the worst units in the history of college football. They were far from elite this year but light years better than last year with the same talent which is sub par for a power 5 team.
 
Absolutely shocked that the best team in the mighty coaRstal would give up 600 yards rushing in their bowl game.

Lol 756 yards. That's just embarrassing. I was cooking and every time I checked the pot, they scored or had a big run.

If Clemson wanted to they could. I also remember ND running 20 something times straight. Let's not even talk about No D
 
You cant judge teams on Bowl games --- this is a perfect example
- Preseason: Baylor had dreams of playing for a National Title this year - didn't come close to happening and came into this game with a chip on their shoulder
- Preseason: UNC picked to go .500 in many preseason polls...... and they get to the ACC title game where if they win, they could have been in the final four. Clemson beats them down .... season is over before they even played this game
