From what I've seen of ND tonight they are at a whole different level from the teams we've been playing. We have got our work cut out for us. I'm very excited about our progress and I have great hopes for the future, but we're squeaking out wins week after week. Yes, a win is a win, but we should have won today by at least another TD or two. We can't have all those drops by our top WR. We need him healthy for ND. We need to be able to run the ball more consistently than we did today. We need better special teams play, especially more consistent punting. Wish we had a veteran punter.

I agree with Richt. We've got a ways to go. We're not stacked. We are thin at a number of positions. The poster above, who got negged, might be right. We're not that good yet--we're on the way, but we are going to have our hands full with ND and probably Va Tech. We will finish in the top ten most likely--have a good bowl game, but we might have a loss or two. That's much better than many on here expected at the start of the season.
 
Lol neither are we... We have loads of talent, but the way that we have played you can't expect much else but a tight game. Even when we are destroying a team we somehow only can be up 13-3. Cant get out of our own way

They had 35 points with 142 yards of offense at one point. I think VT is good, but UNC is very bad.

Yeah I guess that’s impressive but UNC is a dumpster fire. I just look at the 17 points that they put up against Clemson at home at night. I would argue that our defense is very comparable to Clemson and they won’t have the extra juice they get from playing a home night game.

We will be a very important game for ND. At worst we should both have no more than 1 loss each, we may be undefeated. That will be a playoff elimination game.

I made the same post earlier today and got 0 responses lol. Every team comes up to us playing their best and super hyped and we crush their spirits.
