There have been multiple posts and reports, sent to us to ban him as a troll.

That said, I have taken your thoughts into consideration and have changed this thread to Nole Tears Only and corrected the special of “official” by the OP.

So now people are on notice that this thread is ONLY to trash FSU.

Sir, for the record, the INCORRECT spelling of "Offcial" is completely intentional, and was based on an F$U recruiting letter a few years ago THAT MISSPELLED THE WORD "OFFICIAL" (as in "Offcial Offer").

"Offcial" is part of the joke, and (I believe) was inserted into the thread name by @RVACane after we all laughed about the recruiting letter error.

Those of us who have posted in these threads don't need the word "only" to know the purpose of these threads. Only one poster needs that explained to him (or her).

I think what he was trying to say is that Clemson’s top 2 WR’s are better than FSU’s top 2, but FSU is stronger than Clemson’s WR room overall.

Just my interpretation.

First, that an intentionally ignorant porster managed to state (poorly) something that gave rise to a (possibly) unintentional slight to Miami while lauding F$U ON THE F$U TEAR THREAD, and second, that anyone was taking the time to defend such an inartful and out-of-place porst.

That's all. It's nothing personal, this just isn't a good thread for that porster to porst in.

Again, with all due respect, I'm not sure it makes us "crybabies" to attempt some gentle self-policing of our two longest-standing and highest-impact threads.

We are all trying to do our parts to keep CIS going, nobody is angry, nobody is upset.

I would opine that moderating / QC is never a waste of time, and an integral part of the job, as the aggregation of information both positive and negative improves the integrity of the site.

We get new posters all the time, particularly since the launch of the CIS app. I'm just trying to maintain the good spirits (and intentional misspellings) of the two greatest Tears threads on this board.

We all knew it, but we had to gather enough evidence to ban him since he claimed to be a UM Alum.

We’ve been looking into Cane30’s posts for two weeks and have spoken to him and D$.

We don’t take banning lightly, nor do we want to discourage people’s opinions. A lot goes on behind the scenes, before we act or comment.

CIS just has a long, ignominious tradition of "Miami fans" passive-aggressively giving love to our rival corches, players, and fans.

"Corch Neon Prime can really recruit, he's gonna be a problem."
"Those Texas A&M fans suuuuure were nice to me."
"Notre Dame has two amazing running backs and that QB is going to be really good."
"Florida is a really good academic school."
"F$U's new stadium improvements are a step up."

All of those things might be factually true, but nobody wants to hear about that crap on Tears threads.
