FSU's Mike Norvell Named Candidate for Oregon OC Job
Questions about Mike Norvell’s future at Florida State have followed him into college football’s coaching carousel. The Seminoles’ head coach has appeared on awww.si.com
Unfortunately I don't think this Clemson team is capable of that. Their O is terrible.I mean, he’s still whining about the latest “snub“.
It’s been nine days, Prison Mike.
They say a team takes a personality of its coach, and I tend to think that’s true. His focus is still from two weekends ago. I expect Clemson to go in there and give them a pounding.
Diaz is on deckThere is a lesson in this, which I hope they never learn: Don't get yourself into contracts for which you could never afford to get out.
Be honest with yourselves, Mike Norvell is completely replaceable. He had a good 1.75 year run, but there was absolutely nothing on the other side of that team.
These schools think they have the next Saban or Lombardi with the smallest set of evidence.
There are maybe 4 schools who could afford a $50 million+ breakup fee and FSU ain't one of them. We aren't one of them. The difference with Mario is that the talent amassing behind the big transfers was very visible, you had a reasonable assurance the floor was something livable if need be.
Six losing seasons in the last 8 years. Miami has six in the last 46 years.
He might be a good OC in my opinion. But Oregon’s problems are deeper than just play calling. Also, is the dual threat qb saving him as a play caller? Cause I’ve seen too many fsu games where qb scrambling is the game changer and not the actual plays themselves.
We need them to beat Clemson and the gators to Mike back

We'd have to all the way back to 1977 to total 7 losing seasons.About to be 7 out of 9 for F$U...
Norvell’s offenses at FSU have all been scramble drills. The quarterback runs around for as long as possible waiting for a receiver to break free. When all else fails, just throw it up for grabs in the vicinity of a 6’5” receiver and hope for the best. When he has a QB who can execute this ridiculous excuse for an offense, they score points. Otherwise, they’re horrible. He might be a good OC in my opinion. But Oregon’s problems are deeper than just play calling. Also, is the dual threat qb saving him as a play caller?
