Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

My issue is whether X is back to mostly healthy form, and how the reworked OL after Buchanan’s injury.

If the secondary looks shaky, Duce and Danzy could have good games. (However, I am banking on quite a bit of Ashton Daniels mistakes and poor throws - “not good” is a nice way of describing him.)

FSU got home a bunch with the blitz against UVA and thrives on confusing the OL. Our 5 needs to be in sync. I BETTER not see 65 out there until the fourth.
who's are best match up for Duce?? Dunnigan??
Xavier Lucas with Bryce roaming center field.

That reworked OL is the same OL that was on the field against Clemson when we ran the ball every play for 70 yards and a TD to put the game away. Clemson’s defensive line is FAR better than FSU’s, and this OL had them on skates. 65 in particular made some really good blocks. I think they’re going to have their way with FSU.

That’s true and I specifically went back and watched 65 on each snap of that final drive. However, that combination also had the benefit of wearing down the Clemson DL the whole game. Not worried about the run game, just about protecting Mensah from unnecessary hits due to miscommunication.

On a side note, I never knew that Truman was set on drafting striking railroad union workers in 1946 as a means of ending their strike.

When railroad unions called a nationwide strike in May 1946 that crippled commuter service and dumped transcontinental train passengers in the desert, Truman blew a fuse. Advisers could not deter him from going before Congress and demanding authority to draft railroad strikers into the Army. When his attorney general, Tom Clark, questioned the idea's constitutionality, the president retorted, "We'll draft 'em first and think about the law later."

It took the House less than two hours to vote, 306-13, to approve this drastic measure, but in the Senate an unusual alliance of liberal Democrats and conservative Republicans defeated it, after compelling Truman's supporters to admit that if workers refused to return to their jobs, they could be regarded as traitors and court-martialed. Hence, the ultimate penalty, one Republican pointed out, was "death or penitentiary." Even some senators who wanted to curb unions thought that was going too far.
