The game should not be close, but yes, there could always be scenarios.

The talent gap is pretty wide again this year. Reminds me of 2024. Our offense not quite as good, but our defense is light years better. FSU’s offense is somewhat better, but their defense is worse.

That 2024 game should have been much worse. It was much more of a beat down than the final score indicated. I’m happy if the outcome is similar this year.

yet they had great starts against Bama and Louisville only to fold up like a cheap suit. I hope we don't give them that kind of head start in this game and get their confidence up

The 24 FSU team was much worse than this year's team.

Yes, we should kill them but the reality is that it is very difficult, for whatever reason, to keep the foot on the gas. Look at last year's game - that should have been a 45-10 kind of game. But instead, we just took off the gas emotionally and it was much closer than it should have been. Thankfully, we are at home this year which SHOULD mean we don't let off the gas emotionally.

2024 they had better DBs than they have now IMO. And I think Cam wanted to push the ball downfield rather than just checking down all game which stalled out some drives. Plus our receiver group is much better now than in 24.

My issue is whether X is back to mostly healthy form, and how the reworked OL after Buchanan’s injury.

If the secondary looks shaky, Duce and Danzy could have good games. (However, I am banking on quite a bit of Ashton Daniels mistakes and poor throws - “not good” is a nice way of describing him.)

FSU got home a bunch with the blitz against UVA and thrives on confusing the OL. Our 5 needs to be in sync. I BETTER not see 65 out there until the fourth.
