My daughter was at the FSU/SMU game and she said that if they even showed Prison Mike briefly on the scoreboard the whole crowd would start to boo. She's met him on a bunch of occasions and says he is nice in person but has accepted he's just a terrible coach though -- she says all the students know he needs to go.

She took a pic with Jordan Travis the other day and sent it to me, she has classes in the stadium. Building instructional space connected to the stadium was a sneaky way to get extra stadium funding.

They showed a video of the band getting some honor and Norvell announced it and was booed so loud it was tough to tell what he was announcing. He’s cooked.

She is correct. I was at the game rooting for SMU. I do know that Travis is getting some $h*t because he is on their booster team and has been not being really doing a good job and is just talking up Norvell. We have some friends here who work within FSU at some good levels(One is a ex Miami admin and worked with Mario before) and say he is a very nice guy just isn't doing good any everyone know he needs to go. They used some local government funds for this stupid *** stadium and people here are still not happy about it.

Yes, FSU does not play FAMU, but they play Central Arkansas which is a terrible FCS school. I guess dude is still holding out and in denial about his team. Most FSU fans know and are fully admitting their program is a dumpster fire and the laughing stock of all of college football.

I do think that Diaz could do better than expected under the right NIL circumstances at FSU. He was an early adopter of the portal and showed he was forward-thinking in that regard. He also was willing to make changes when things weren't working out, and do so fairly quickly. He was able to recruit a blue-chip transfer two years ago to Duke (Murphy), and then a top-tier transfer last year (Mensah). If he could persuade someone like a Mesnah to join him at FSU, he could flirt with a 10-win team.

But he overall would need to recruit in all areas well, and he didn't previously show the ability to do that on a year to year basis.

I’d bet he’s making at least that from Aflac. Probably another 5-7 a year on game day then try and add up all the commercials he’s in and he’s not doing those for a few bucks you can vet that. I’d be willing to bet he’s making close to 25-30 with everything he’s got going on.

That’s on the low end.

He has other businesses that generate revenue, and of course the money he has makes money. This guy is probably grossing out somewhere in the neighborhood of $50M+ per year.
