It's an interesting question. I will admit, I was very impressed when he pulled Mensah to Duke. Obviously, we know how that ended for them; Duke isn't putting $6.5 million into single football player, despite having the money to do so. The question is, would/can FSU? If he thinks the answer to that is yes, he will absolutely take the job. During his tenure here, Manny was a lot of things, but he is not a stupid guy, and I believe he gets that the equation needs to balance: Expectations vs. Budget cannot be a negative number. That said, the lesson FSU probably hasn't figured out yet, is despite them being the poster child for it, you need a HS recruiting foundation to be successful. That is still will the majority of your impact players will come from, you can't live and die by throwing money into the portal. There's too many people doing it, and you're completely captive to an unknown pool every year. If they talk themselves into Manny, that is what they are missing. He really sucked at recruiting. It's possible he's improved some, I guess, but I wouldn't bet on a lot of head-to-head wins against Mario.

I'm confused. He says they don't do cornball ****, inferring that Miami does cornball ****. What exactly did Miami do that he thinks is Cornball? Also, FSU is the king of cornball **** the last 3 years and it's not even close.

Yes, FSU does not play FAMU, but they play Central Arkansas which is a terrible FCS school. I guess dude is still holding out and in denial about his team. Most FSU fans know and are fully admitting their program is a dumpster fire and the laughing stock of all of college football.
