Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

The saddest part of this is that FSU isn't actually broke. They've just been making extremely dumb, big financial commitments like a double-wide owner who won the lottery.

Taggart hire/fire, Norvell new contract, Doak upgrades. And apparently their booster base has more to give but doesn't want to throw good money after bad by letting Norvell have any hand in directing it. But their personnel decisions from the university president down have been D U M B, so I have no reason to believe they'll dig out any time soon.

We were 1 play away from winning a national championship, and fsu is in the worst spot any Big 3 school has been in FIFTY (50) years.

We don’t need FSU for a ******* thing.
FSU is in such a terrible spot. That Norvell deal is a legit program killer. Given it took 10 years to raise $ to replace the toilets at Doak, they are ****ED.

The number 2 recruit on this list goes to school 10mins from FSU campus at Godby HS. FSU has missed out on dozens of local talent and Leon county isn’t exactly Dade or Broward with an abundance of recruits.

They're hoping they can just finish 3rd in the ACC, get the same $$ that UGA gets, or every other top program investing heavily in the sport, and then be allowed into a new 24 team playoff. Hahahahaha. Basically, they want to be rewarded for mediocrity and the teams playing the toughest schedules, investing the most into the sports, and generating the most income for the sport will all be penalized for doing so.

Why the hate for Bud Elliot?
You can go back and listen to the signing day episodes from his FSU podcasts, even when things looked like they were going really well for them, and Bud was out there saying these classes suck, you can’t have sustainable success recruiting like this, and when Mike is fired, this will be why.

If I was an FSU fan completely blindsided by the collapse, my respect for the dude that was ringing the alarm even when nobody else wanted to hear it, would be even greater in 2026.
It’s everybody else I wouldn’t be listening to anymore.

I find Bud interesting and he has decent takes. His Achilles heel is that he always has to behave like he’s the highest intellect in the room.

Bud is the man. He has always been a Mario fan for the most part too.

I hope they suck for 20 year 😂
We need to win 7 in a row, minimum. I hope they die slow. Everybody is our opp anyway. Not being hyperbolic, at any given time, some random school in Kansas or Iowa could be in an all out life and death beef with us for the simplest thing. Dont mention the big schools who we dont even play against.

Btw yall do not understand how my hatred of them grew during the period of Jimbo being there and feasting on Al Golden and No D bum azzes. Being in palm beach and seeing them everywhere acting like they are some royalty, winning bunch of games they had no business winning if we didnt have heckle and geckle coaching us. I hate them as much as the Gators.

I'm going to ask a simple question.

In the entire history of NCAA football...

Not counting "forfeits", has a team ever declined BY ELEVEN WINS from one year to the next?

F$U went from 13 wins to 2 wins. Overnight.

Unprecedented...
2012 Southern Miss followed up a 12-2 season with an 0-12 record.

FSU had the second largest decline in college football history, but the devil is in the details.

For starters, one of FSU's wins came against FCS Charleston Southern, while Southern Miss didn't play an FCS opponent.

Southern Miss had also lost their HC and both coordinators, while FSU returned all three.
