The best hope that F$U has is to jettison every single player on the current roster, then sign 30 kids out of HS and 50 from the Portal.

First year would be brutal, and then they could shoot for a big improvement in Year 2.

The portal makes it “easier” to course correct and get back on track. Plus, the new coach will get that first year “bump” class. The key is hiring the right guy. That’s where it gets cloudy. Hire the wrong coach (again) and it’s “good night Irene!”
