You are correct, the # 10 softball team in the country is having trouble retaining its best players.

Confession time: during late 1970s and 1980s, I used to pull for them a little when they weren't playing us as this was an era where many fans wanted the state of Florida to be a player in college football. We are talking about an era where Schnellenberger and Bowden would pose for photo ops donning boxing gloves. That sort of stuff. Also, living in soFla, we all knew someone who went to that school. Heck, one of my brothers graduated from that school. Finally, we shared a common enemy in Gainesville where a team jokingly referred to as having the arrogance of Notre Dame and won-loss records of Wake Forest resided. But at some point this rivalry became quite nasty. I think we beat them too many times for their liking to the point where they celebrated and exploited not only our losses but some of the human tragedy that befell our program. So, yeah, fck the Noles, local soFla vermin who root for them and some of our fellow fans who think it's cool to wish them success. Absolutely zero respect for that athletic program.

I want to see us not only run up the score vs the Noles, but have one of our defenders hit their QB so hard that he bounces off the goalposts like what they did to our QB during 1997 game.

Nah this is the year we do a 2020 game replay. It’s gonna be a massacre. Last year we took our foot off the gas early, won’t happen again.

That was then, both programs were trying to rise. This is now, I hope they stay down
