Sadly (or humorously), this is how far the SemenHoles have fallen. They were in the Final 5 for a top quarterback, and yet...

Who would have thought that the team that ALMOST landed Cam Ward (if only they had pushed harder) would now be chasing after a 3-star QB and justifying it by saying they are taking the guy they are "best positioned for" (i.e., "we are recruiting you the hardest, because the better schools have higher priority targets").

For the record, this is ALL of their posts in the thread. They just stopped posting...right before the announcement...they are trying to protect their fragile feelings...

It’s going to be challenging for FSU to land a quarterback when most of their high school signees leave after one or two years.

They’re pushing for the Vero qb . I hope we take him too lol we need to add Vero / fort pierce to our recruiting area . Meaning lock it down . Those two schools have a lot of talent and lot of those Vero kids are fort pierce kids who changed schools

I guess no real tears because they had No expectation of getting Izzy! This recruitment at a position of need would have had the entire fan base invested?! They’re down Bad, they’re expecting L’s on the trail! Wow, entire program is Beta and dying a slow tortuous death!
