Well if you are one of their bigger boosters, why would you invest now? You know yall aint doing **** next year and you cant afford to fire norvell, if you do overpay for a recruit with the suck tax and say they turn out great, well next year (or in two years) when Norvell is fired that recruit may walk based on the preference of the new coach. So it wouldnt surprise me to see boosters simply save money this year knowing the team will suck then reinvest when the program can start from scratch. Doesnt seem like anyone has any faith in norvel.

The dilemma is that you add good (expensive) players that will see the field. But this means the starters you already have will start looking around, if they're getting passed over - which means you have to replace them too. And it gets real pricey real fast for a team you have for maybe a year.

This isn't bad-mouthing Castellanos because we knew in the preseason that he had limitations as a passer that had to be masked by his ability to utilize his legs.

Yeah, sure, okay. Now they admit Tommy had limitations? I seem to remember a lot of ****y Noles bragging about his passing abilities and how he was going to throw and run all over us and the ACC.
 
As long as Malzahn is there, he will prioritize guys who are good runners over accurate passers. How else is he going to pad stats in garbage time with quarterback scrambles when they’re down three touchdowns?
