I remember feeling that way a little over a decade ago. But I didn’t worry that we were broke, I just thought we were being incompetent and apathetic.

Being incompetent, apathetic, AND broke sounds like the deepest, darkest level of CFB ****. Like Dante’s Inferno-level ****.

Said earlier this year, before Norvell was announced as back, that they wouldn't be relevant until 2027 or 2028.

At the end of the day they're going to suck next year. 8-4 team at best. They'll spend all offseason lining up the money to get rid of MN next year if need be.
 
Went over to their boards a few minutes ago and it's a funeral over there. No one - rightfully so - thinks that Norvell turns it around next year. They expect much more of the same. Reality is, they have a coach with 4 losing seasons out of his 6 there. No one is going to come to a sinking ship. They will be irrelevant until 2027 at earliest, and assuming they make a good hire.
