Don't think they can him at the end of the year. Kinda seems like FSU is just setting him up for a short leash in 2026.

From what i've heard the way its structured would be a yearly line item for the salary and not a lump sum, but would still need to pay for staff buyouts (5-10 million), new coaches buyout (another 5-10 million) then actual contracts (40+ million). Broke boys

They don't have the $ and they probably want norvell to wear the 2026 losses since their schedule is difficult next year. I think they'll wait to fire him next year to have less $ to pay and to make norvell take the losses instead of a new shiny hc.
