We have a chance to add to this build with a down day and UF. Like they did to us for many years but they didn’t take the opportunity. I hope Norvell and Billy keep those jobs, they are not a threat under those regimes.

I never understood when fans said we needed them good. No we don’t……but let’s hope they keep them hired. Cause when places like that hire someone new, you could expect some surprise flips with new staffs

I've been saying it on this board for 5 years, we don't need them good, we need them just good enough to keep the coaches they have, who stink out loud.

I'm not going to cry if they get the **** kicked out of them every week, by any means. The last couple years have been incredible for Canes fans. But, in a perfect world, they'd both go something like 8-4 where they aren't good enough to croot better than us, don't beat us, but aren't bad enough to get fired.

Wait…maybe when they were talking about private equity last year they actually meant payday loans…

Noles would mix those two up. Just sub one in luau of the other.

He’s would be second string on this team . Until Williams completes a forward pass over 10 yards he’s can’t be trusted . We watched that bowl game . What a disaster . I bet we go in the portal again for a qb next year

You’re outta your mind if you think Dawson or Mario would ever hand things over to a QB like him. They would absolutely live and die with Williams or Nickell. Castellanos can’t complete and intermediate pass either, BTW. Everything is outside the hashes or a downfield chuck.
 
While I agree that keeping Norvell around as long as possible is best for our program, we need to be realistic. A 7 or 8 win season might buy Norvell one more year but FSU isn’t going to just give up on trying to win championships and settle for 8 straight years of Mike winning 7 or 8 games. We wouldn’t settle for a decade of Manny Diaz going 7-5. They’re not going to either. Outside of some kind of miracle, he’s gone after next year at the absolute latest.
