He’s not getting canned this year. Way too expensive. As much as it pains me, I want FSU to win this weekend.
Norvell needs to win just enough to keep his job. Much like Napier.

Sow we want Pitt to win![]()
If we win out, we're in the playoffs. So as far as I'm concerned, if FSU and the Gators lose a few games this year, I won't lose a bit of sleep over it.Absolutely. Three ACC losses takes them out of the conference championship picture for sure. Probably already are but 3 or 4 losses should still keep Norvel in Malihassee.
Kiffin’s name comes up just often enough to get a raiseOther than Jimbo's wife getting plowed *allegedly*, wasn't the issue FSU didn't want to pony up for an IPF? That's why Jumbo left?
Lane Kiffins name always seems to come up with this crap, but bro is making $9 million a year with realistic expectations at Ole Miss. Why would he want to come to FSU or UF? Even if he did, would it really matter? Are they gonna give him a bunch of money and a five year plan? With either team? ****, UF ran their two best coaches (Heart Attack, Spurrier) out of town. They weren't good enough for the Gator? Same with FSU. Literally ran the guy out who made the football program. Sure, both team had success ('08 Gators, '13 FSU), but long term implications?
Turns out it is very hard to catch lightning in a bottle.
Both teams are now in a position that the next coach will have to be a known name, likely paying them $15 million a year guaranteed with a hefty buyout for a minimum of five years. Not to mention the money for top end coordinators, and a heavy treasure chest for NIL.
***** that..Norvell ain’t going anywhere until at least ‘27 so I’ll wait till then to hope for wins to keep him…As much as it pains me, I want FSU to win this weekend.

I would be upset storming the field period. We should be top tier and expect wins not storm the field like looney tunes characters
Yeah, we win the NC, I think everyone gets a pass for acting crazy as ****. After 25 years, our fans have a right to go nuts.I don’t even wanna jinx it.
But look where the natty is this year
If I’m there. I’m storming that *****.
I'm telling you, even taking my orange and green glasses off; if I were Lane Kiffin, I would have a very healthy, very productive, and very long stay at Ole Miss. I failed in the pros, which stings, I left like a thief in the night at Tennessee, I got a job that doesn't require very much, and I'm getting paid very well to do it.Kiffin’s name comes up just often enough to get a raise
I agree. But like most coaches that get to that level if he’s bored and/or his ego thinks he can “fix them” and shine his star(ego) more I can see him taking one of the Florida jobsI'm telling you, even taking my orange and green glasses off; if I were Lane Kiffin, I would have a very healthy, very productive, and very long stay at Ole Miss. My *** is staying is Mississippi and chowing down on barbeque. Would give myself an ulcer at FSU or UF. The expectations to be good are so immediate and so astronomical, for a few million more in the long run? Nah fam, nah.
That’s the natty that’s way differentI don’t even wanna jinx it.

Honestly, if he was going for one of the jobs right now; it seems between the two FSU is more serviceable to rebuild quickly. UF, seems to me is around 2-3 years away, and FSU with a better coach and staff, could turn things around in one year.I agree. I mean I’d only take the FSU job because of the easier ACC schedule…Honestly, if he was going for one of the jobs right now; it seems between the two FSU is more serviceable to rebuild quickly. And honestly, UF seems to have a stubborn, boneheaded Athletic Director. That would be a problem too.
We'll see my young friend.Bruh first time ever making the playoffs and winning it?????
That’s all time right there
You might think I'm being a vindictive cuss; but between the FL jobs not named 'University Of Miami', I'd probably try to coach at USF before UF and FSU. Less expectations, good, solid booster base, great fertile recruting ground. A really good coaching staff could make USF a regular top 25/occasional top 10 team.I mean I’d only take the FSU job because of the easier ACC schedule…
I think it was talked about in the game threads about what players could play on our team and I think Florida has a better roster in place now before you get your own cherry picked portal adds. FSU is a complete tear down and rebuild… their trenches are brutally bad up and down the depth chart
No argument here lol I’ve been to Tampa a few times with work and enjoy the golf in the area recently played Cabot and really enjoyed it.You might think I'm being a vindictive cuss; but between the FL jobs not named 'University Of Miami', I'd probably try to coach at USF before UF and FSU. Tampa is a much sexier place than Hogtown or Tallahassee. lol!
