Funny stuff. For those that aren't gluttons for punishment like I am, I'll give you the tl;dw:

- Second rewatch made them realize how uncompetitive their team was
- They referred to Norvell as a portal addict and how it's costing him
- they bemoan the lack of crooters on staff, especially compared to Miami and Mario
- They reiterate the wide gap in talent between miami and fsu, especially in the trenches
- recruiting failures and portal failures are a real concern
- Lack of depth beyond the portal starters and how troublesome it is that prior recruits can't even get on the field when a portal starters goes down
- reading b/w the lines, they are nervous what the next year or 2 will hold given their recruiting/portal failures
- they sounds a LOT like we sounded the past 15-20 years (complaining that they are losing to teams with inferior - sometimes vastly - talent than their roster)

It’s obvious kids are still committing to that logo. Because it’s sure as fck isn’t because of that coach. And if they are doing it because of him then that fanbase shouldn’t be shocked by the results.

They are worried about the wrong ****. They need to stop the hemorrhaging 🤣. Now you have to lean on poorly recruited depth pieces

Bud Elliot has a touch of the tism, but he has been adamant that Norvell and his staff are not good HS recruiters and pins it on the fact that Mike and the boys are not good at the art of recruiting. It’s not resources or investment. They are not good at sales. And he’s right. Norvell sits down when he pees

Did we cry pout and complain about it? **** no.... we used it as motivation and went on to win the whole **** thing the next season!

Mike is a beta and acted like a chick after the "snub"... an alpha motivates the **** out of their team for the next season, but lets be real.... it really was Travis that carried them and not Mikes coaching.

This was an awesome listen, my god the tears were flowing.

This game broke Chuck Blunt, it's completely apparent he's done with Norvell. He was spot on referencing the talent disparity between the two programs, particularly at the line of scrimmage.

Also loved the segment from Bud Elliot and Blunt regarding the standard Mario holds his coaching staff in terms of talent acquisition. They know Norvell and his staff aren't on the same level.

I completely agree, they all sound a lot like UM fans when this program was being punished by teams who simply had more talent.

Well, we (the fans) did kind of cry and complain when we got hosed in 2000. The internet and social medial were still relatively young at the time, so there wasn’t as many outlets or forums where people could post about anything and everything.

But to your point, we actually did something about it when we got screwed. Stayed focused for the bowl game and whipped our in-state rival. Then used it as motivation to fuel the best team ever assembled and win it all in 2001. Having an alpha coach in Butch compared to FSU's beta Mike makes a huge difference. Yes, I know Butch left before the 2001 season started, but he was such a strong leader. That was his team in 2001 and everybody knows it.
