Looking at fsu stat line is wild. Their leading rusher is a WR lol. They played essentially 2 D2 schools and their leading tackler is a safety? No LB or DL making plays. Leading sack guy has 1. Tells me a lot.

Kent state RB had a few runs early where he was getting to the second level without being touched. Didn’t get beyond that but K State was able to open a hole for him to get through. Same with K State and the directional school DL getting free on passing downs.

I’m not a big fan of PFF but it’s interesting how low the grades are for fsu OL.

We had 2023 Miami (led by Emory) driving to tie the game against the dudes above.

PLUS Verse and Fiske.

Been a good start for FSpoo…but they’re about to face a Miami roster on Oct 4 that Id take against their 2023 team.

Is this guy someone who actually rates players for the recruiting services or is some random poster pulling grades out his *** to make himself and other FSU fans feel better about stealing a recruit from FIU and USF?

I think he's a nobody but they have him regrade all their commits and targets. Baghdad Brenda actually called our D-line elite and he got upset.

Believe we started 6 freshmen in that game? And some other guys who probably wouldn’t have gotten a whole lot of snaps on this roster.
 
That first ball is picked 90% of the time. 2nd, unless it’s a blown coverage, no way does that guy get beyond our DBs. The reverse? Yeah that DE was frozen and had 0 instinct even though it was coming right at him. Especially running a long looping reverse like that. No way does he get to the edge if Thomas, Toure, Scott, etc haven’t completely bit on the initial movement.

I'm more then ok with them calling a PA deep shot in their own end zone vs us.

Nah that first balls getting picked 12/10 times against an average fbs secondary. And the reverse? I'd be willing to bet they do a fake reverse or some variation on us to try and catch us biting on the reverse since they've done it multiple times in the games they've played already.

I do think we will get to see our secondary tested a bit, they have some straight line speed, OJ occasionally gets beat on a deep ball, dont have enough tape on Lucas or O'Connor but they are pretty fast, I do not think this is a great matchup for Damari on the outside unless we give him some help over the top. Interested to see Poysner in deep coverage, I think Fitz gets another INT ball hawking the way he does and Thomas will be headhunting close to the LOS so I think its a decent deep ball test.

Chandler Morris is good, great pickup by Elliot

Really only question is the defense which hasn't been great but the offense is legit
