Agree. And a QB who opposing teams will neutralize over the course of the season.

Which is odd because it is the same offense Gus has been running for over 20 years. Not like he called anything surprising. Also, another plus for Miami as they have 2 weeks to practice for it.
 
These dudes are running double reverses and option passes against division 3 teams. You really have to empty your playbook against Kent? You should be able to just line up and beat them heads up and save the goofy **** for when you play a real team. This is what their quarterback did the last time we played against him.

One of his first big passes against the A&M directional community college he got lit up by a DL that broke free. Was hat on hat. No blitz or twist. Good luck on any go routes when your OL can’t hold back a D2 defensive linemen for more than a second and a half.

To be fair Bill O'Brien didn't do him any favours by trying to make him into a pocket QB.

VS our DL it'll be different. It was wild seeing essentially both Mesidor and Bain take 5 total steps and they meet at the QB. If the IDL and ILBs can handle the movement, it'll be a long night for FSU.

UF tried reverse etc., did NOT go well. So we'll see.

Their depth is razor thin.
The only thing that concerns me is the soar and sail routes from the running backs.
