Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

This is not a joke.

My predictions are that F$U will continue to struggle with recruiting, the collective will struggle to raise and disburse funds, and that Prison Mike is fired at the end of the season. Possibly earlier.

They have to do something to signal to recruits that improved-coaching (or the hope thereof) is on the way.

End of season ? He doesn’t make it through a half of a season.

They will owe him $50-$60 million if they fire him this season. You think they have that type of money?

Behind a paywall. Is the usual Kirby, Dabo, Lanning, etc. and then maybe 1-2 realistic options?

Surprisingly, I saw none of those three names.

Well, it's not truly a "hotboard" as developed by one of their sportswriters.

Prepare yourself, these are the names mentioned thus far (some may be sarcastic, but I report, you decide):

Jimbo Fisher
Glenn Schumann
Willie Taggart
Fran Brown
Coach Neion Deion Prime
Manny Diaz
James Franklin
Rhett Lashlee
Jeff Brohm
Kenny Dillingham
Urban Meyer
Matt Campbell
Lance Leipold
Shane Beamer

Four pages, and those are all the names they generated. No joke.

Either way it’s all tears. If the pony up 70mil to can the staff they’re going to be scraping the bottom of a barrel of coaching options to replace Norvell. I’d do it if I were them. At least bring in some hope. Norvell is a dead man walking and really pouring salt on their wounds.

Financing a buyout is insane to me.

We're talking about a public research university having internal discussions about whether or not to take on eight figures of debt to pay a coach to not work there anymore.

At what point can FSU's malfeasance be considered a criminal act against the Florida taxpayers? Same question goes regarding the former UF president and his state-financed slush fund.

They could have done that by hiring a real oc not some washed up coach who gladly jumped at the position because he was going to get fired .
