They are really, really, really, really in for a tough time.
Sight unseen, I'm going to guess that this Prison-Mike-lathering hype job was written by either Brenda Sonnonuts or Zach Blojob. Those two guys really know how to pump too much air into the F$U tires.
And if I had to put money down, I'd say that this feels a lot like Brenda Sonnonuts, the same hack who wrote the florid prose last year about how the F$U quarterbacks walked onto the practice field, as he predicted greatness and leadership based on one guy's mother****ing posture.
And just imagine how far F$U and their fans and their writers have fallen...
Just imagine how far F$U has fallen when a paid sportswriter bases his analysis of Prison Mike on using the word "really" three times (not in succession, mind you).
Just imagine how far F$U has fallen when they gloss over the DEPARTURE of a 4-star QB after one year (who had enough faith in F$U to WALK ON over other scholarship offers) in order to hype a 3-star transfer QB from Eastern Tennessee State.
Just imagine how far F$U has fallen when they are talking about a guy who is eligible to play immediately, but whom they plan to NOT play in order to attempt to develop him years from now.
Just imagine how far F$U has fallen when they are rationalizing this QB take by talking about how they might be successful dumpster-divers, getting "something out of a raw talent for minimal risk".
Ladies and gentlemen, you are seeing the late-stage death throes of a broken program, one that is touting a corny head coach who is a lazy recruiter, one that is fluffing players who are not even going to play.
Really, really, really hilarious.
