Out of those 16 draft picks. Not a single one was recruited under Norvell. The first 3 players on that list only played one season under Norvell and were already very good players before that final season. Thats like saying Mario should get credit for Tyrique Stevenson and Will Mallory.

All of his transfers were already elite players with exception of Jordan Travis and Jarrian Jones. If they want to give him credit for those two, I’m fine with that. Although Renardo Green wasn’t recruited under Norvell, he did play most of his college career with Norvell as HC. I guess he can get credit for him as well.

So really, that’s only 3 players out of the 16 he should get the credit.

Believe I read somewhere Norvell has never had a player drafted that he recruited out of high school.

He’s a terrible recruiter. His first true class was 2020. Obviously, none of them were good enough to leave early and get drafted. I can’t think of any player from that class that could be drafted. Possibly Mastramanno, he was insane for them, but is a NFL team willing to draft a punter?

Their 2021 class might have Josh Farmer, Shyheim Brown?

Agreed. They could probably make a similar argument for some of their draft picks, but I am going to bow out gracefully and get back to nole tears. Apologies for the brief diversion
