Some juicy tears over them choking away their lead last night in the CWS. Umpire's fault

Watched Bud Elliot’s podcast and he had the noles247 writer on. Both guys seemed very skeptical about DJU because he is on his 3rd school and there weren’t a lot of big name schools after him. Sort of a consolation get. They both said RBs won’t be as good as Benson and WRs are a big unknown, hoping Malik Benson can become an all American over night. OL should be good, but not sure how much better they can get. They think the DL is better overall, but you can only play four guys and last years four was better. The 247 guy was really worried about LB and they think the secondary takes a step back. Now these two guys are pretty connected to the team, these are their thoughts, but for some reason the fan base has no problem predicting 12-0. Delusionoles
Bud has been trying to tell their fans for months this team is likely nowhere near as good as last year’s.
Funniest **** is results only tell a portion of a far bigger story. Not to sound like too much of a hater, cause obviously they were undefeated until taking the worst bowl game loss EVER. But that team needed alot of lucky breaks not to have an easy 4 losses last year. This year is definitely far worse. Dj uwannalay is ***. Why you think Martinez had to carry them last season. If they're not gonna have a MASSIVE let down this year (without knowing their schedule)it's gonna take the defense or a back up QB carrying themBud has been trying to tell their fans for months this team is likely nowhere near as good as last year’s.
Sched I would say is more difficult than ours.Funniest **** is results only tell a portion of a far bigger story. Memphis is pretty **** good also. Not some crap team. Memphis will have the better QB when they play. Their schedule is much tougher than a lot of people realize.Sched I would say is more difficult than ours.
GT (in Dublin could be a weird one, first game of the season type of ish)
Boston College
Memphis
Cal
SMU
Clemson
Duke
Miami
UNC
Notre Dame
Charleston So
Gator
We share the following opponents: GT, Duke, Gator, Cal
FAMU=Charleston So that is a wash.
Ball State and USF however are likely weaker than any other team on their schedule but likely compare to Memphis and BC.
Then we have Syracuse, Wake, Va Tech, and Lousiville.
Compared to Notre Dame, SMU, Clemson, UNC
Like you said they caught some lucky breaks and that is part of football. Eventually no one remembers those lucky breaks but do remember who won the game but for them to think they are on their way to another "undefeated season" is wild to me.
Good! I hope they go 1 - 11 and beat the Gaytes 3 - 0 in 7 Overtimes.Memphis is pretty **** good also. Not some crap team. Memphis will have the better QB when they play. Their schedule is much tougher than a lot of people realize.
After this years Miami game, and after other losses as well…View attachment 291897View attachment 291898View attachment 291899View attachment 291900View attachment 291901
