He probably thinks he deserves some huge nil package for his contributions in those 11 snaps
Probably, seems typical for their roster at this point. I'm not convinced it's a real quote (haven't seen the original source). For all I know it's one of those fake photoshop quotes for the memes.

yeah could be and even if not like my G you are a redshirt freshman interior OL that was ranked in the 1,000's coming out of HS. This is what the marketplace is. Some teams (like texas with its OL NIL where like every OL gets 50k) may pay every player regardless but traditionally you need to perform to get paid.

Kids that age have a hard time dealing with the fact that they probably just ain’t good and will get compensated based on their actual value to the program on the field.

With that being said: burn it down

There’s going to be a lot of regression to mean for FSU next year on top of the regression they’ll have from losing so much of their production. They played a ton of close games last year and won them all. They were the least dominant 13-1 team I have ever seen. Even if a lot of their new transfers pan out, they’re not going to have the same luck. Teams that win a ton of close games rarely repeat the same feat the following season.

I second this. They hit the perfect storm of their schedule + 5th & 6th year SRs. But if you swapped their jersey with say Cincinnati they’d prolly have been ranked 15th ish

Weird so many kids think they deserve NIL. Not everyone is Johnny Manziel homie
It’s not that he deserves it, it’s that he’s seeing a bunch of transfers who haven’t played much, if at all get NIL deals at FSU. All those Bama benchwarmer’s aren’t coming to play for Norvell for free shoulder rubs.

Exactly.

And while it's hard to tell which came first (did the F$U player leave first, or did the Portal recruit come in first), it's pretty easy to prove that F$U will ABSOLUTELY pay big NIL for guys who haven't played much.

As long as those guys come from another school. But not F$U. They won't pay THEIR OWN players who haven't played much.

Exactly!

Which leads me to believe....

That either the free shoulder rubs aren't as good as advertised, OR...
SHOULDER RUBS ARE ONLY FOR GUYS WHO HAVEN'T SIGNED YET!!!!!

****, this thing goes deep than I ever expected.

(And could be a cause for another NCAA finding)
