2000 yards is such a low bar (167/game) given a 12 game schedule.

What gets me is the delusional FSU fans saying Travis is an NFL prospect and will enter the draft forgoing his Senior year.

I'm like wrong and wrong.

He threw for 1,539 yards on 122 completions out of 194 attemps. Subtract his 274 yard Miami performance and it's 1,269 in 9 games for a 140 yd/gm average.

Nothing against the young man, but there's nothing he's done statistically that says NFL. He threw for 63%. With under 20 attemps per game, that’s very telling. Prison Mike was deliberate in scheming pass plays for Travis. Kind of the way you see Army scheme pass plays. A heavy dose of runs and then fool the defense with play action pass.

If Travis were slinging the rock 40 times or even 30 times per game, he'd be a mid 50% passer.

His running adds a much needed dimension, but the arm talent is not NFL.
2000 yds through the air. But add in his 3000yds on the ground, and they should be ok.

All time great CBs? Mike Haynes and Mel Blount say ‘hold my beer’…

The 5-yard chuck rule was known as the Mel Blount rule….they had to alter the rules he was so good. 57 interceptions and first CB to be named Defensive Player of the Year in 1975.

Haynes had 46 interceptions, 5 TDs.
