I still believe macshark in regards to that. The Florida fans are crazy. Mullets wife used to be afraid to go to the food store and that was during the Urban era when they should have been on cloud 9 with their staff.

Truth. Dexter Lehtinen (Ileana Ros-Lehtinen's husband) started working for the Miccosukee tribe in the early 90s after he was forced out as US Attorney. He used to teach a Tribal Law seminar at UM Law. The Miccosukee tribe was the earlier of the tribes to move from bingo to resort casino-style gambling, but the Seminole tribe leapfrogged them by purchasing Hard Rock and opening spots in Tampa and Naples.

I was at the game where the Tribe leader came out with fake Chief Osceola and spiked the spear himself. They were not hurting for money at the time but its free money to continue to allow a college to disparage your name.

Given the popularity of casino gambling and the status of the Doak Campbell urinals, it would not be outside of the realm of possibility for the Seminole tribe to just purchase F$U. I'm sure the State of Florida would be happy to be rid of that money-losing risk-management disaster of a school...

I hope this doesn't sound racist, but what does the Seminole Nation know about running a premier clown college? I'm just saying it would be tragic for America to lose its edge in clown production.

No, it's a valid question. I was told that the Seminole tribe wants to reclaim its primacy on the issue of "face-painting". They are not happy with the way that "clowning" has impacted and infantilized its centuries-old traditions, and they will be shutting down most of F$U's academic programs, including, but not limited to, the Ringling Brothers Circus School.

The Seminole tribe will also be terminating most of the F$U athletic programs, citing the damage to the Seminole brand and the humiliation that the Jacksonville State loss brought to the members of the tribe.

My business is near the reservation and I have a few Seminole customers. Mostly guys who own cheekee hut companies who bring me their chainsaws for repair. Every man, woman and child on the reservation collects over $100,000 a year just for being a member of the tribe.
