It's a lot like fishing really. You never know exactly know what you're going come out with, but the journey itself is cathartic.

Then sometimes you get them rationalizing their precarious long-run position because of "direct flights" to Trailerhassee.

These SemenHole bytches are whining that Ivins (a ND guy, not a Miami guy) listed UM "first" before F$U. As if the ordering is really influencing this kid. Good lord, what is next? F$U fans will start insisting on alphabetical listings, right after they change their name to "A Florida State University"?

They should probably go with AA Florida State University, I hear the gators are using A Florida university already...

Let's be realistic here. Do you really think FSU fans know the alphabet in order?

It’s good for our schedule/entertainment and college football to have a strong Miami and FSU simultaneously. With that said they can stay down forever until we come back and win a couple championships.

FSU Miami gives me too much of the feels to wish away that rivalry for good.

Even weirder, a good segment of the SemenHole (or Gaytor) fanbase is not from Talla-*******-hassee (or Hogtown). And, sure, a college town may be a nice change of pace or a good lifestyle choice for SOME people. But many SemenHoles and Gaytors grew up in...Miami...or Fort Lauderdale...or West Palm...or Orlando...or Tampa...or St. Pete...or Clearwater...or Jacksonville.

This misplaced fantasy that every single kid from an urban area will only enjoy one particular college lifestyle choice...or wants to live in a college town...or wants to play in front of a larger crowd with (potentially) fewer close family members and friends...is just ridiculous.

If someone really, really likes Tally or Hogtown, good for them. But it's the narrow-minded SemenHoles and Gaytors that can't possibly fathom that there are different strokes for different folks, and some people may actually prefer to go to school in a larger town or city.
