That is why you never gloat about attendance. It can turn around real fast.
agree u win and they come, teams like bama and CU have high standards and if they lose people wont go because excellence is expected now. Its even worse when the fan base think the HC is full of ****

People need to dive deep into that article.

The F$U booster club had to kick in about 6% of the F$U Athletic Department budget, and they had the CHOICE to do so. Imagine if the booster club didn't want to do that. WEIRD situation up there in Talla-*******-hassee.

It’s an incredibly touchy situation right now between the boosters and the athletic department. FSU has one of the most unique situations in the whole country with how the boosters and athletic dept interact. And right now it’s very, very shaky.

Don't really know anything about them, just know they won 10 games last year (their bowl game was canceled, so regular season only) and guessing that's better than FSU.

Here's a preview from SB Nation. Sounds like they have some talent but will have a new QB.

Sorry for threadjacking, but With all of the 5 stars Baga signs every year, they have to take a transfer that has barely played in 3 years due to injury?

It's not about "having" to take him. If you have the space for him, why not take him? He was FSU's best lineman two years ago and the few games that hes healthy enough to play in, he makes a difference. He's pretty much an ideal depth transfer

It’s also about winning battles and perception.
Just 3 years ago FSU was still seen as a premiere program in CFB and yearly playoff contender.
Taking one of their best players is a bad look for them. Especially when they should be having momentum due to the new OC. It’s easy to spin if the kid would’ve transferred to wake or Vanderbilt. But if bama takes him it just looks bad.
The fact still remains he’s a good player but making a recruiting rival look bad is just icing on the cake.
