I was watching the warm ups and looked their team and our team. I told my buddy a Bama fan, we are dead. I had no idea how far behind we were until that moment. We looked like a HS team. Definitely not in the same league with them. That's what makes what we are doing now so great.

Felt the same way at the Alabama game. I was so happy to be there and then when I saw Alabama OL come out I about $h!t my pants. Not even in the same league as them back then.

Took you that long to see it? lol Where have you been all those other years? I was hollering for years when I saw the Bamas and elite programs of the modern era......wasn't a good feeling for me for years seeing that.

Ha! Yeah I did know it but when you see it on the field live against the gold standard it really hits it home.

There was an undercurrent of hope that we'd at least not humiliate ourselves. Remember how winning the ACC was the goal and now nobody even cares?
 
What’s crazy is that bama team was coming off their monster 2020 team and we somehow still thought we had a shot

Same vibes I had before the Peach Bowl debacle, what was that 05? LSU looked like an NFL team by comparison.

how did all of us have the same reaction as i was there with my whole crew of hs teammates we are excited.talking sh*t ...ended up getting out of ubers the exact same spot as jalen waddle, smith the skinny wr, and like two other bama alum players...acting confident with them....

we are watching warmups and all of us look at each other the same time n say...we look small as sh*t lmaooo this aint gonna go well.
Literally all of us in our late 30s would stand out at our hs positions on that roster or not look out of place a crew of 5 or 6 of us. Had we suited up would look no different than those current guys and bigger. lol
