They have no idea how many wealthy alums UM actually has. I was surprised when someone shared the list of the wealthiest university alumni bases and Miami was right behind ND in the number of uber-wealthy (those with net worth of $30 Million +). ND was I believe #19 on the list with 2506 in that category counting for a total net worth of $200 Billion. UM was #20 with 1960 in that category BUT a total net worth of almost $600 Billion. AND as pointed out U Health is very profitable and growing. Part of the growth is also due to BRAND VISIBILITY. Synergy ... justifies investment in UM football.
