Their only notable alumni is Horatio Fields. Looks like he transferred from auburn to Ole miss this year

The AD at fsu forgot to mention that the money they saved not buying out prison mike will go to a new roof on the erector set they call doak cambell or whatever...

Or maybe Stanford and Syracuse, or any other could've won a game or two more to assist our schedule. There are ways to not pull for the Noles, surprising to many on CIS. In no instance would I ever want them schmucks to win in this conference.

We don’t play Stanford or Syracuse every year. Duke also played Syracuse so them winning more would have made no difference. I would gladly prefer FSU win an extra game or two if it means we get in the playoff and have a chance to win the title. FSU losing every game means nothing to me if we’re in the Pop Tart Bowl because of it. If we go undefeated every year and never need to worry about tie breakers, then they can go 0-12 for all I care.

All you’re saying is FSU losing is more important to you than Miami winning.

All I did was make a point that anything that gets Miami into the playoffs is the most important thing. My priority is Miami winning championships.

No offense, but this is just a really dumb take. Did this year not prove that we don’t need our rivals to be good for us to be in the game? The worse the turds and the holes are the better off we are from every possible standpoint. It’s not even a question.

CIS Noles are sad and struggling, I get it.

But the die has been cast.

I've watched Miami win 4 of their 5. I live in SC but have had season tickets since the OB stood. I'm very invested in seeing the canes win, plenty of time, travel, and money.
In my mind, I can't possibly connect how fsu's success helps the []_[].
We all fan differently man. I can't pull for the Noles with you
 
As nice as it is to see them bouncing off the bottom of the ACC year after year, I can say it would be better for us if they didn't suck as bad because it is a rivalry game and does help our SOS. That's not rooting for the Noles. I'm not wishing for that to happen, even if it does help us, but I can acknowledge the truth in it.

I can also love every second of their suffering because it makes me giddy like a school girl.

no man, **** that about a rivalry game, lets beat them 50-0 and lets root for Wake, Pitt, UNC, VT and BC to make a run this year and increase our SOS. I understand SOS is important, but no one expects Florida A&M to boost it, that is how I want to look at FSU, they are central michigan until otherwise and the rest of the ACC can be good.

In 2025’s case, FSU being a little better and Miami making the conference championship game doesn’t serve us. We don’t get an automatic bye with two losses in 2025. All we get is another game and the likelihood of a more beaten up Canes team facing its first round opponent.

I didn't say I wanted them better, I just acknowledged that it's better for us if they are. I relish in their pain and suffering.

If we went to a decent conference, none of this would be an issue. The only reason it's even a discussion is because the ACC is the worst run P4 conference.
