Saw that nole honk Pittinger has something on the youtubes about the acc and part 1 deals with us, he has MacClain on there who I like but Pittinger can e.a.d. He won't get a view from me.
Rubino’swhich was better . . . Tony Romas or Bobby Rubino's (place for ribs)?
Corey Clarke is a special kind of stupid. One of my favorite forms of entertainment these last two years was watching “Wrap-up warchant” as soon as their games were over after they just lost again for the umpteenth time. Seeing him and Ira Schoffel(Dumb and Dumber) discussing what a **** show they are is pure comedy. They can't enforce it as a contract because that would make the players employees. The schools don't want that.
First 15 mins or so is a good listen
The Warchant crew run a business, and their brand is a light slap of honesty layered over a bedrock of homerism. These bozos have a fundamental misunderstanding of NIL and modern college athletics.
They also have a fundamental misunderstanding of logic. Last years fsu team could have won 10 games? Yeah and I could have landed Sydney Sweeney last year if not for a few mistakes here and there.
I'm old. Bobby Robino's.Great reference!
though to their credit they have a great understanding of being broke ***These bozos have a fundamental misunderstanding of NIL and modern college athletics.

I don’t know if you’ve ever listened to Jeff Cameron, but he CLAIMS the reason FSU has gone cheap in the portal this year is because their AD thought in all his infinite wisdom that the courts were going to rule against many of the NIL contracts and the players would be ruled ineligiblethough to their credit they have a great understanding of being broke ***
Even if true, they would have lost to other schools' second stringers.I don’t know if you’ve ever listened to Jeff Cameron, but he CLAIMS the reason FSU has gone cheap in the portal this year is because their AD thought in all his infinite wisdom that the courts were going to rule against many of the NIL contracts and the players would be ruled ineligible. And FSU, being the fine, upstanding institution that they are would have a squad full of eligible players because they did things the “right way.” Like you, I believe the real answer is far simpler than that…these fools are broke as a joke.
Restaurants that I miss from S Florida, having moved to Texas in 1998 and having read that they are gone:Dammmmnnn...
I think I only went to Bobby Rubino's once, though I liked it. If I recall, did they only have 1 or 2 locations, and they closed down earlier.
In my life, I'm sure I went to Tony Roma's more. There was one by my parents' house in Orlando for a while, in addition to the locations in Miami.
Can't forget Shorty's either. As a poor student, it was harder to do the "sit-down restaurants" for ribs, and easier to get some Shorty's.
I used to go to the Bobby Rubino's up in Margate back in the 80s and 90s. The chicken wings were fire!Dammmmnnn...

Bro, I’m pretty sure Taco Viva was gone before 1998. Maybe the one in the Broward Mall food court was still open.Restaurants that I miss from S Florida, having moved to Texas in 1998 and having read that they are gone:
1. Char Hut
2. Taco Viva
3. Mister Donuts (great one in Deerfield Beach that my grandfather used to take me to)
One place still around that I got to go to visiting my father in 2021 is Zucharellis; that place had THE best pizza.
