It can just not good players.

Well, sure, I never denied that F$U could probably pull 14 guys from Albany State or some such school with a small amount of scratch.

But given the players that F$U is losing (to both graduation AND portaling-out), the provision of "$5-7 million" for immediate assistance in filling holes is just woefully inadequate.

Don’t worry. Norvell is kind of a “roll up your sleeves and get in there DIY” kind of a guy…
He’s just going to have to get even more walk-ons.

We’ll be playing against Tommy and the Pikes at HRS next season. Might be a good opportunity to beat that GT-Cumberland record!

A expensive bad coach + no money = a very bleak year that will have its impact for the next couple of years.

I just love thinking back to how ****y they were when they filed suit against the ACC, when they thought they were indestructible and on top of the world. They were going to be sitting back laughing, the subject of a Big 10/SEC bidding war, and we were the chumps who would be left behind…

Good times.

If I was FSU and completely folding on the next season with this lame duck staff, I would 100% not spend a dime on anybody not coming off a FR season. And probably only a few of them. That makes sense.

What doesn’t make sense is purposely folding on the ‘26 season. It’s not like baseball where by trading off vets and losing you stock pile young prospects and draft picks, and clear the books for your contending window.

Tanking in CFB gets you nothing.
Such a bizarre approach.

They were too good for this conference.
