They are convinced Norvell getting fired is imminent. Again, where do they get the $60 million to buyout Norvell and his staff, plus another $40 million to bring in a new HC and staff, plus another few million for competitive NIL to rebuild their roster? The numbers aren’t there
Unlike James Franklin, Norvell will struggle to get another job to mitigate the buyout. FSU will be on the hook for nearly that entire sum

They are going to sell the future profitability of the program to private equity.
I mean, private equity of that magnitude tends to make smart financial decisions. A second rate football team with little mass appeal is not as enticing as they may think. Plus, I’ll laugh when the fifth avenue firm that owns the team decides the Seminole name and mascot is too unPC and they’re forced to change it

Knowing how dumb FSU is, Jimmy Sexton probably got them to agree to the massive deal and not have any offset language for Norvells next job.

Stayed up to watch the implosion. Watching that safety knock out the little FSU qb was wow… he absolutely torched him. Gonna have to sit against us now…. but the truth is that kid won them the game. FSU wins if he stayed in the game.

I think Sperry may do better for them going forward. He isn't really the runner Castellanos is but that may not be a bad thing. He's a better passer.

That was a vicious hit on Castellanos by the Stanford safety. I thought he killed him.

The good news is he is now out for the first half next week vs Miami

Seemed like he was wildly inaccurate on just about every single throw he made. Castellanos was the only person playing hard in that game but was also overthrowing wide open guys. They are totally screwed.

I'm in private equity and fully agree with this. The problem is that if they sell their souls for 120 million (all in guess), that company owns every move that's made and you no longer have a say in what you do. They could change the name to the *** dumpsters and fsu would have to do it.

Also, private equity is there to make a profit SHORT TERM, meaning that you need to drive immediate profitability improvement. That could be selling the stadium for revenue, or cutting every expense and flying spirit airlines
