No. They live off the FL taxpayers...
Buyouts, once approved does not affect them. The legislature in Tallahassee will rubber stamp it.

If Willie went 1-11 this year it would still be ridiculous for the University to fire him. No decent coach would want the job at that point.

Beating Florida is a must. It is a very winnable game and will keep the FSU guys at least a little content. They win that game to end the season they will go into the offseason without going after his head. Then next year he will probably get fired, but atleast we will have a 3 year streak of winning against FSU at that point and hopefully out recruited them 3 years in a row to really give us an advantage over the next coach they get.

Golden was a snake oil salesman. Then we felt bad that we hired him without telling him about the troll. Having said that, part of the reason was Shalala desperately wanted Golden to work out because she wanted to change everything about this program. FSU may want to fire Willie this year but the realities of the contract may hinder that. Last year FSU’s offense was 95th in the country. They weren’t that great either. It might not be a coaching problem alone. It might also be part talent. At least on the O-Line.

I hope whatever it is never gets fixed and it all keeps collapsing in failure.

Lulz! Typical holes fans not appreciating the process. If they're smart they'll extend his contract IMMEDIATELY thru to 2048 AND increase his buyout! Oh, & their turnover purse needs rhinestones and glitter and they'll be all set. Do Something!
