No, Willie Taggart, Florida State is not undefeated

By that logic, the Hurricanes are national champions and they stay that way until someone finally beats them.

Pretty incredible how Florida State wound up with their own version of Al Golden.

Where Miami has always been a revolving door for head coaches, most leaving for better jobs back in the day—Schnelly, JJ, DE and Butch—it was a train-wreck after that; Coker, Shannon, Golden.

Florida State had the consistent Bowden forever. Yes, he backslid his final half decade—but Jimbo came on as the figurehead late in in the Bowden era, making for a seamless transition that earned them a national title within a few years. They thought they had their next 'lifer' and dude bailed for a bigger college check—not even the NFL—which is still pretty incredible.

To go from two coaches that brought national titles—to having to settle on Willie Lump Lump as the program's brand has backslid big time; Miami just better continue capitalizing on Florida State's failures and can't let up. Not after dropping SEVEN IN A ROW to those donkey ****s.
As bad as Golden was, he never, ever gave us the turnover ***** pack. Same for Shannon and Coker. I honestly think all three of those coaches would have a winning record against Willie lead FSU squads.

2 years and no QB recruits have signed with FSU?

That is mind blowing!

Reminds me of Larry Coker's travails.

2002: Marc Guillon (4 stars) - Transferred in 2003
2003: Kyle Wright (5 stars)
2004: Kirby Freeman (4 stars)
2005: None
2006: None (Daniel Stegall - 2 stars - committed, but then went to MLB a few months later)

okay noles and Willie suck, but lets not forget it took an incredible 4th quarter last year to beat them, so lets not go to far overboard.

Why would you want Miami to beat a winless FSU team? That does nothing to help your team when it comes to national rankings.

we still made a BCS bowl beating bums on our schedule and losing to bums we dont need FSU to be good, leave that myth alone. They won a title with us being bums they dont need us and we dont need them

Agreed. It's not like the old days. Miami has absolute zero need for FSU to be good. These days Miami is better off with FSU losing as many games as possible.

I didn't realize Kirby was a 4 star, recruiting evals back in the day were hot garbage

The only time I want FSU to win is when they play Notre Dame.

Willie taking a beating....

But while it’s certainly a tomahawk chop to the gut to watch quarterbacks spurn FSU in favor of schools like Maryland, Ole Miss and UNC, it’s still not as bad as hiring Kendal Briles, which Taggart did so against the wishes of FSU fans and alumni.

It didn’t matter that Briles was on Baylor’s staff while 19 football players were accused of sexual assault or domestic assault, nor did it matter that a Title IX lawsuit alleged that Briles once told a recruit,
“Do you like white women? Because we have a lot of them at Baylor, and they love football players.”

^ That part right there - that’s what you call “Crootin”, KWIS (Know What I’m Saying?)

I'm just waiting for the day where he says, "trust the process," I'm going to lose it laughing hysterically.

Our slide after a NC has been slow and painful to be sure, but FSU's slide after their last NC has been nothing short of spectacular.
Another 5-7 season and I just don't see how Taggart can survive. They can easily be 2-4 by mid October.
Let the coaching rumors begin
