Fedora sets the bar really high but dont let that make it seem like Applewhite at OC is a bad hire.
My concern with Applewhite would be Diaz's friendship with him. Perhaps I'm just overly concerned about D'No 2.0, but rule one of being the boss is don't hire someone you can't fire. I'd rather just avoid any potential nepotism, especially for the OC.

Would much rather have Fedora but Applewhite is no slouch. He’s coached under some good minds and was OC under Herman at Houston in ‘15 and ‘16. Not my first choice personally but I could live with it.

Applewhite would be a let down from Fedora. Anyone saying otherwise is lying to themselves.

He has never successfully ran an offense on his own. The only good offenses he was part of were at Houston and he wasn’t calling plays either time.
