No Talent

You're right. NFL teams who's job depends on winning are more than glad to waste picks on guys they think suck.

Our guys were higher rated coming out of HS. Our guys will be higher rated higher coming out of college. Our guys will test faster and more athletic. Our players are better period. They just have zero discipline, zero motivation, zero coaching and zero pride right now as a player for the U.

THAT is on Mandy and this Mickey Mouse staff.

Name one player on offense that played today that had a positive impact on the game.

It can be both BTW .... ****** coaching and low T players.

Remember UF during the Muschamp/Mac era. The defense carried them and everyone said they needed offenses recruits then Mullen magically gets the same players to play better.
This no talent line that people are trotting out all of a sudden is hilarious like we play in the SEC west or something and not G5's and basketball schools. Even bonehead former players have taken it up

Our kids may theoretically have more talent, but they have NO character or pride. They are a bunch of lazy, entitled azzholes who are just enjoying the fun in the sun. Dump all of them or beat the crap out of them until they get the picture that this kind of horseshoe is NOT tolerated.

That's what coaches get paid millions of dollars to do, that is the job. The incompetent ones don't get it done.

Lol “no talent”

Manny has done a great job being soo terrible that he’s convinced people that there is no talent and no culture at the U.

Manny is honestly the worst coach I’ve ever seen. And on top of that he’s a terrible person to pretend that he hasn’t
Been at the U for 4+ years building that cultures and recruting those older guys he says don’t care.

But to the ppl who are buying this....I have one question...do you realize this is the same
Exact stuff Randy and Golden would say? And how did that work?

Nailed it.

This is what your talent looks like when horrible coaching gets ahold of it.

Every year we hear that talent is the problem, yet every year we have more players drafted than the schools we lose to. Sure, we don’t have the talent to play with a Bama, but we have more than enough talent to play against these scrubs we keep losing to. Most of these kids were recruited by the best programs in the country. Talent isn’t the reason we are losing these game

Bad players+ horrific corches+ incompetent administration = 6-7 at the university of bleeping miami...not to mention losses to: FIU, DUKE, LA. TECH, and GT.

BULLSH!T

We have more talent than LA Tech, FIU, GTech, UNC, Duke...and on and on...

There is NO EXCUSE for the embarrassment of a season that we just witnessed. We may not have the elite talent that we had during our championship years, but we have better talent than ANY TEAM in the Coastal. This is a failure from the AD to the coaches.

Stop making excuses for Blake and Manny. We have just seen (yet again) what happens when incompetent leadership takes what should have been a respectable team and mismanages EVERYTHING.

Those players looked lost, flat, unmotivated, sloppy, and beaten all year. I live in San Diego, and watched SDSU manhandle CMU in their bowl. The same CMU that we struggled to beat at home. No one...no one would rank CMU or SDSU above us in talent.
The onus is on the AD and coaching staff; from recruiting to player development. We are at the final line drawn in the sand - either something changes, and by change I mean in an upwardly trajectory (read that as no less than 10-2) or there will be mutiny on the hands of the BoT for this latest dumpster fire.

listen the rich get richer and the have not’s poorer, just like in life. We’re down but hopefully not broken. Not saying just replacing the OC will fix everything, because it won’t. We’ve got to cutoff the athletics program so hard it hurts them more than they can handle. We’ve got tokeep up the pressure on the BoT by giving back our season tickets and refusing to gift wrap money to the program. We’ve got to keep the billboards up and send emails to the BoT - ***** the athletic department, they’ll just delete them. We have to pull every lever across every piece of the program we can until Fake James and the rest of them are all gone and a completely new regime is brought in - from Frenk, to James, Shawtley, all of them.

Doing better than this year is almost incredibly impossible to not do. What we need is a more permanent solution. That all starts with no longer supporting the program until they respond and do so with actual, actionable change.

If we ever reach the point again that we have a stacked roster like Alabama, Clemson or Ohio State with multiple first round draft picks year after year, then we can laugh while looking back at this era and all the comical rationalizations. But since we are currently stuck in this era then we've got to pretend a bunch of fragile flashy later round guys give us some type of monumental advantage that we are squandering.

The players leave early, for one thing. Let's say Jeff Thomas is drafted 6th round and contributes to some NFL team. Are we going to use him as example of wasted talent? Meanwhile he stayed only 3 seasons and missed numerous games along the way. There is one example after another like that. Does Gerald Willis count on our ledger? Maybe we can be bragging about Osborn and Hill in a few years. Look at the talent on that 2019 team.

Miami has underachieved but it's like the 17th ranked tennis player in the world. Nobody pays much attention when he loses in an early round. It doesn't warrant a peep, unlike if someone like Federer, Nadal, Djokovic or Murray bow out early. That doesn't happen because they do have supreme talent level, enough to withstand upsets. That is the tennis version of Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State.

We could mask talent deficiencies with a great quarterback. It would be exposed against elite programs but you can pretend along the way. Again, that's somewhat like a flawed tennis player with a dominant serve.

When we have modest talent edge and are sending out quarterbacks like Jarren Williams and N'Kosi Perry, I'm not dense enough to have high expectations.

Agree but the coaching is worse and diaz is a terrible recruiter so yea fire diaz now!!
