No Sunshine in Gus "the Bus" Felder

Just LOL at the dudes making fun of this dude for his size . He is a beast of a man and you can tell he don't play around . Love the hire.

to put it in simple terms... If you were to hire a personal trainer, would you hire someone thats obese? If you hired a dieatitian, would you hire someone thats obese?

I asked this the other day and got snark in response. Does one training type favor a certain group of players over the other?

Like, does HIT favor skill position and the other type favor big men? Could explain a lot about our structure. This guy training OL/DL/TE primarily, while Penn State trains the others.

We always heard Swasey was better with agility training etc. but poor with the lines. I wonder if this is the case with our deployment. I was a nothing S, but we definitely worked as a group with our assistant S & C and almost never the head guy.

Oh wait...we are now equating S&C coordinators at the highest (hope to be again) level of college football with personal trainers?

No offense to those who use personal trainers, but there are quite a few of us who do not require hand holding at the gym.

These kids don't come to UM obese or in need of looking good for a movie role. They need strength and mass gains way beyond the average gym routine or personal trainer routine.

PLEASE, let's not forget this is a S&C STAFF...not individual. While Swasey looked the personal trainer part, there was never any faith that he was getting it done with the big men in the trenches, and for the most part, his cult following of NFL pros from UM tended to prove that theory as they were mainly WR, RB, TE and LB.

Same goes here. Big boy Felders isn't likely going to be running wind sprints and hitting sand hills with these guys...but it doesn't mean it isn't happening. He will just be that much more on top of what goes on inside the weight room.Fine by me.

I am excited about a group of professionals planning for each position. They will be able to go deeper into the plans for each athlete. Dude is huge he was an O lineman, but I would bet he gets the most out our guys. It was sad seeing Clemson treat our Athletes like little kids out there. Our DB's would hit there receivers and bounce off. We had no answer in the trenches perimeter anywhere.

Depends, do you need the information or do you need a world class athlete. plenty of fat *** doctors who can teach you about heart disease.

I don't see Bill Belichek laying people out at practice, but he still gets his guys to play right?

I'm sure Butch would have been out there doing shuttle runs huH?
