Richt said earlier in the week he thought it best to have minimal practice due to the team having had no bye and possibly wearing out. Compounding things was the short week.
In hindsight, that was probably a mistake. As bad as Rosier played, the whole team looked unprepared to play against the intensity of a team with nothing to lose. They played to win, we played not to lose. Maybe a bit more practice would have helped, not hurt.
Lesson learned...hopefully.

This was the last game of the year tho... I was OK with the no practice. Players should have it down by now.

Who knows? On the 560 pre game they said the players said it was the most intense and focused week of practice all year.

I think they were prepared - just made a lot of mental mistakes...dropping balls, overthrowing guys, etc. Classic overlooking game

The QB bootleg on 4th for their last TD, looked like a team totally unprepared for it...even though it seemed everyone else saw it coming

That would be scary if true going into Clemson. They looked totally unfocused, Malik obviously, but money man Berrios with drop, busts in secondary, Bandy, etc.

There is a chance that CMR has been saving the offense for Clemson. We have shown very little this season in the way of motion, counters and deception. Its straight up basic formations (3) never under center relying on our guys being better than their guys to execute. We may not score at all next Saturday with this plan. I am going and can only hope the staff has been sandbagging or spending all that money to freeze my *** off is gonna be quite painful. The Wisconsin game in Orlando comes to mind and i said I would never do that again. Pray for us idiots we need a miracle

What could you run with Malik at qb ? while I was watching the game yesterday I was thinking to myself what could coach call ? Malik couldn't even complete a screen. All Pitt had to do was stop the run.

The practiced, moron. They just cut back on the hitting. To say they didn’t practice is idiotic.

You can't use that as an example. They were running the ball down our throats on that drive. Defense was fed up, tired looking for the stop.
