Nah I'll eat crow if nothing happens but anyone who isn't brain dead would fire Enos. Manny fired the entire offensive staff in a few hours shortly after he was hired, he will do it again, or else this will end like Golden and D'Nofrio or Richt and little Richt.

I've never heard so much clueless complaining. You guys act as if human beings will suddenly do something different that they have not done before. Be realistic.

First, Frenk is in Year 4 of his 5-year contract. He has 8 months to go before his contract runs out. He's not going to rock the boat right now. He's been a pvssy-whipped weakling for over 4 years, nothing is going to change now. Per my insiders, he is unlikely to be extended, thus UM BoT already needs to have serious internal discussions on when to start a new President search. And these people do NOT want to confront that reality, as it will be an admission that they failed 5 years ago (when most UM presidents have had loooooong tenures).

Second, if you want the BoT to change, then the NEW President needs to appoint some new people. And that will take time. And maybe even a restructuring of the BoT. In an ideal world, you would create a permanent standing committee for Athletics that would be made up of people who ACTUALLY CARE about these issues, and have some familiarity and talent with these issues.

ONLY THEN would you get an improvement, possibly. Because, hey, it's EASY to just fire Blake. BUT WHO WOULD YOU REPLACE HIM WITH? After all, we have cycled through multiple ADs since Paul Mana-Dee, and we haven't exactly hit upon a true winner (like Jankovich). If you are going to stop the bleeding, you have to do more than rip off the Band-Aid (firing Blake), you need a larger plan.

Third, once you get a new AD, then you have to make sure that you have complete buy-off on what needs to be done. Look at F$U, they are begging their boosters to kick in more money and they are fumbling around with the Stoops brothers and Odell and Norvell and Campbell, with no real plan.

Sorry, guys, this isn't going to turn around overnight. Lots of dipsh!tes have been whining about Shalala, but she gave a ****. She may not have hired the right ADs and football coaches, but she made an effort. Frenk is doing NOTHING.

If that's even remotely true, get ready for a 3 or 4 win season and that's if we are lucky. Keep in mind, Temple is much better than us, North Carolina and GT will be vastly improved as will Duke, and we have to travel to the Virginia teams, one probably in November, oh and Wake would beat us like a drum and have to play there.

Diaz fired the offensive staff because that was Richt's staff. Enos is Manny's hire and the offensive staff falls under Diaz's direction. Firing Enos and the offensive side staff would make Diaz look like he was wrong (where there's nothing wrong with a coach correcting his previous mistakes).

totally agree. Enos needs to go ASAP. I do think the position coaches are okay, except OL. The play calling was atrocious.

As much as I hate to agree, I think you are right! Manny started the season talking about coaching continuity and about building a program that will sustain over the long haul! He isn’t going to fire anyone in one year! He will point to other coaches that started with a garbage record and went on to build a solid program!
It’s clear Manny wants Miami of the 90s and he has said so in interviews! A team with a pro style smash run game mixing in multiple formations and sets! Manny coached against this same Enos playbook when Manny was DC at Miss St and while Enos was at Arkansas so Manny knew exactly what the scheme was going to be! Apparently Enos offense at Arkansas must have impressed Manny tremendously! This is exactly what Diaz has hitched his wagon too! So all of us that want a Tempo Spread Big 12 style offense will need to wait for Diaz to be fired! The style of offense this staff wants to run is 100% predicated on a high level Oline. We all know that takes time! Especially trying to develop depth and experience. The day we heard Zion was starting at left tackle was our warning that this season had limited expectations in the minds of the staff! Because no serious staff looking to be contenders would start a 2 Star true Freshman at left tackle! That was the sign we were ****ed! This was a rebuild in every sense in the mind of the staff.
