I agree the only chance Diaz has to remain UM's head football coach beyond next season is to make moves. Failure to make moves will suggest some sort of financial limitation, or Diaz is not someone who's respected in the coaching fraternity. This can't continue. UM is not a top-50 program right now.

Enos needs to go...Manny brought him in to improve our offense and although he improved our QB play overall, our offense...quite frankly....stunk in all categories. Specifically, his situational play calling (3rd and short, red zone) was atrocious (TE sweep, toss to the short side of the field, etc..)...they can blame execution or poor OL all they want but there are less talented teams out there doing better in these categories.

Keep an eye on Michigan State who may be looking to overhaul their staff.
He has "Nick Saban" on his resume, so he will be highly regarded in spite of what he has done here....it's all about who you know and worked with in coaching circles.

Didn't they already try one with Saban on his resume and are now looking to run him out? Not all ex Saban assistants pan out. So far Smart is the only guy having success and arguably Cristobal, but they also worked with Saban longer than Enos.

I don’t believe for a second everyone will be retained. Wait till after signing day. Manny can’t believe that the current group would suddenly create accountability and elevate execution next year, when they couldn’t manage it this year. The failure this year was a mixture of System, accountability, and culture.
That combination is an indictment of coaching and leadership. If Manny wants a head coaching career, he will make changes.

Keep in mind, Temple is much better than us, North Carolina and GT will be vastly improved as will Duke, and we have to travel to the Virginia teams, one probably in November, oh and Wake would beat us like a drum and have to play there.

Truth be told, Manny would have to land some pretty accomplished coaches or get super lucky with up and coming reaches bc he’s a dead man walking going into next year. He prob sees it as just need another year in his TNM system (LOL) but that wouldn’t shock me.

Pretty simple answer: GT, UNC, FSU, Duke will all be improved. VT and Pitt about the same. UVA and Wake will regress slightly but both are away. Fewer bye weeks. That's a harder slate.
