Not surprising really.
The lack of respect this team gets is still comical.

Seriously, the team that's given up an average of 30pts and 230+ yards rushing in their last four games which they went 1-3 in?????

Last I looked we were top.40 in scoring. Probably pick up more first downs on first and second downs than most teams.. Stats can be very decieving

What’s Going To Happen
Both teams are fantastic with great defenses, smart quarterbacks who make big things happen, and great coaching staffs who should be ready for a heavyweight bout.
The big difference? Miami can’t convert third down plays, and Virginia Tech is among the best teams in the country at third down D.
The Hokies win a thriller to take control of the Coastal on their way into the top ten of the next College Football Playoff rankings.

Notre Dame showed our guys for the first time what this team is really capable of when they execute the game plan. Everybody knows that to achieve the ultimate goal, we have to win every game, and even when we've won, they have questioned the very nature of winning until we began to dominate. Domination silences the noise. The guys are beginning to understand that. We are the U. We're not just expected to win. We're expected to dominate.
Our Seniors have done an outstanding job guiding this team back to the Promised Land. The fans are beginning to sense it: an Awakening. The Rock is going to be sold out for a noon kick for the first time maybe ever. The fans expect domination. The Seniors demand and deserve domination. We will dominate. Virginia is just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
