Sucks for media and fans but I get it from a coach/player standpoint. For them, it's all business and prepping for victories. No cameras and microphones.

I'm sure most of this is a result of focusing the team for Stanford and the season, but most likely this early in camp someone showed or said something they weren't supposed to.

D$ is really good at saying enough to build hype for the season and engage the fans without divulging state secrets

Buy season tickets, donate to Canes Connection, anything teams want to know will be on tape in first 3-4 games anyway, but lets get reporters out of here they may give away too much watching one on one drills. LOL

I doubt the staff cares about the Gary Fermans and Geo Milianis of the world. They’re not there to please those reporters. There are dozens of other ways they can put out content.

The first week of camp was a warm-up for these players. The intensity and competition are about to go to a whole new level. It was said a few weeks ago that the players are going to be pushed harder by the staff than they have been in any other year.
