The irony of that gif choice is immense

Denny's is cheap and not sure how you can mess up grits. IHOP is waaay overpriced hot garbage. Go to Cracker Barrel if you want a good chain restaurant breakfast

No doubt. Cracker Barrel is best, but isnt the name offensive — Cracker.

If you live on campus late at night without a car you are stuck going to either Wendys, Mcdonalds, or Dennys. I guess Taco Bell is available if you are willing to take a LONG walk.

Had not thought about that. Grew up poor in north dade and never lived on campus with the rich kids. I do remember frst BK going up on NW 27 ave . Long walk but a big treat at the time. Took a few more years before first Mickey DTs got to my hood. Denny’s was sit down place, way out of budget.

Most of the rich kids live in Merrick, Red Road, Brickel, Downtown, or SOBE. A lot of the kids living on campus where from out of state and on scholarship. I guess the freshman dorms had a lot of rich kids in it though. Also, if you order the Denny specials it ends up being about the same price as Micky D you just need to tip which adds a bit.

If it came across that I’m defending what he said, that was not my intention. But the company has also separated from him. At what point do we stop punishing shareholders for the words of one dude who has been fired by said company? And no, I have not bothered to find out exactly what he said, I have no interest in what that dude says, it’s not like he institutionally covered up child rape for decades. This is the same school that hired and defended Bobby Petrino and Rick Pitino. If you don’t see any irony here, we’ll im sorry if I offended anyone.

Being rational can be a problem. I didn’t see you as defending him and a have no clue why anyone would call you racist. Then again, I’ve read many of your post. I don’t care two craps about the dude or his pizza but everyone should be careful about making words a crime. Free speech is a right. Freedom from being offended is not. If offending someone becomes something that ruins ones life, many here are guilty. Heck, it is a sport here.

I hear you. We are from different times. As a kid I remember nw27 ave north of 163, getting paved for the first time. Anyone eating food Mom or dad didn’t cook was rich to me. I was MDJC type. Didn’t get to The U until Law School and paid for it with my teacher’s salary— was still brown bagging lunch to work.

Times are better I guess. My kids thought us poor because I never let them order soda in restaurant. My grandkids expect a credit card to call Uber for lift to the restaurant. Of course may dad told me he had to shoot is dinner first. Lord only knows what my grand dad had to do.

Nah I feel you bro. I grew up in Harlem in the 90s lol so I know what its like. It was the murder capital back then. We had 4x the amount of murders that Chicago had this year. I got a scholly to go to Miami or I never could have afforded to go there lol. The thing is in Harlem there weren't any food stores so you had to buy food from the corner stores and it ends up costing a lot more then it usually would be. So a lot of people end up living off the dollar menu.

Funny how Peyton cashed out just a few months ago.
This guy needs to shut the **** up and disappear with his billion dollars.

Dang, glad you got the scholly. I was fairly big donor in 80’s and 90’s. It is great to hear that maybe some of it went to help kids like you. Funny thing, my dad was a butcher and I grew up working in grocery stores with him. Back then the big chains had, not driven all the independent stores out of business. Most of the ones I worked in were in the “rough” parts of Dade. Back then Royal Castle was big. Had little burgers on sweet roll for 19 cents each. They were great. Pie and chilly were fantastic. Food deserts were not our problem, just money so RC was more a treat than staple.

Appreciate it bro. I plan to do the same thing in the future to try and help more kids be able to get a UM education. You know how it is every city has a different setup of how people eat and survive. Those sweet roll burgers are making me hungry right now.

Dumb move on Louisville’s part. But not surprised - afterall thia is the new sjw America where everyone is offended by everything.

Guarantee 95% of the public didn’t read range entire transcript to understand the context and the slip up.

They just read headlines and immediately throw stones.

White Castle better be careful. Surprised there hasn't been an uproar in Congress yet. Where is Auntie Maxine when you need her.

White.

Building owned by people oppressing other people.

OMG

It isn’t offensive BC no one gets offended.

Perhaps at some point it will go the way of Wyoming’s mascot and offend snowflakes for its inherent white male heterosexuality?

Hey,

Don't worry, they have secret marketing plan up their in L'Ville to fix the problem; they called in some consultants from NYC and Cali:

NON-GENDER BINARY PIZZA
BETTER VIRTUE SIGNALLING, BETTER SALES IN PLACES WHERE WE HAVE A SMALL NUMBERS OF STORES

I ordered pizza from papa Johns.
45 minutes passed and I called to ask wtf!?
The dude said he couldn’t deliver the pizza on time cause the power went out and they’re waiting on some breakers and switches and wires that are in some dudes warehouse. Go figure.

The guy was waiting until the 26th to put the order in....too bad for you it was the 4th.

Correct...difference is though, that my side gets offended and pressures the offender to step down, while your racist, coward *** side shoots up schools (see Santa Fe & Parkland)...runs a car into a group of counter-protesters killing a female....fires a gun at counter-protesters in Gainesville...etcetera...etcetera.

LOL...Trump gassin' y'all dumb @$$es up to go to prison.
